Hello girlies! I've always ordered american brands of nail polishes like OPI and China Glaze online just because it is much cheaper than here in Belgium. The online shop from where I was getting all my nail polishes has closed so I was in need of some need nail polishes suppliers. Beyondpolish.com (here) carries brand like China Glaze, Opi, Essie, Jessica Cosmetics, CND Vinylux, Sèche and Zoya. The choice of shades available is great and the shipping was really fast. I got to pick three nail polishes and I went for three totally different colors. First, the China Glaze 'All wrapped up' because I was looking for the perfect Christmas-sy colour. This one is blue, super super sparkly and very much perfect for the season. I had to apply three coats to get an opaque result and it gets so shiny once you apply your top coat. The colour is really bright and will look good with a plain dress. 

Then I went for the China Glaze 'Wicked style'. Ok so, this colour is so not the kind of colour I would wear during fall or winter but you always need a bright pink nail polish. Even for your toe nails, right? This will be perfect for spring. It's super creamy and super bright. A dream to apply. 

And finally my last choice was the OPI 'Honk if you love Opi'. It's a dark plum colour and it is my absolute new favourite colour for fall/winter. I used to buy over and over again 'Lincoln park after dark' and this one is very similar with a hint of purple which is beautiful.

There is nothing like a bit of a renewal in your skin care routine, especially during fall since the weather is changing, your skin needs some extra pamper! I like to try out new products, becasuse A. I'm a beauty blogger and I get excited about new products B. because your skin gets used to a product after using it too much and you need to take a break, use something else to get the full benefit of it! So this is it, my new skin care routine for winter. I have a dry skin by nature but oh boy...once winter is starting to show my skin is getting even more dry. It's such an uncomfortable sensation so I need to take very good care of my skin if I don't want to end like an old dry leaf.

Step 1 exfoliate : I have to be careful with this step as exfoliating can be quite harsch for your skin. I choose I very gentle (yet effective) exfoliator. The Marilou Bio (how cute is the name) exfoliating scrub is perfect. It's gentle, effective, with natural ingredients...and super affordable! (around 5 euros). 

Step 2 purify : Once I've gently exfoliated my skin, the next step is to purify my pores! I hate dilated pores, hated them. I wish I had a perfect poreless skin but I don't so I need to purify them twice a week (sometimes I use it thrice!) with the Formula 10.0.6 Pores Be Pure. This mud mask smells amazing (strawberry) and is perfect to tighten your skin and purifying your pores. I have seen some changes since I've been using. It has become one of my favorite pampering moment of my week as this mud mask is perfection (it's pink inside/out, smells divine and works!)

Step 3 prep your skin : Once my skin is exfoliated, purified...time to prep it for my moisturizer. I'm pretty sure my skin lacks some of its natural hyaluronic acid so I'm just trying to help by applying the Reviva Labs Hyaluronic Serum. It is said to make your skin look plumpier and helps your skin keeping its moisture. I think it's a great product, it will not transform your whole face and make you look 10 years younger, but It will help your skin staying moisturized much longer! 

Step 4 moisturize : After prepping my skin with my serum from Reviva Labs, it's time moisturize and when I say moisturize I mean hard core! This has been such a life savior. The Avène Soothing moisture mask (here) is the most amazing moisturizing mask I have ever tried. Oh my god. How come I've never tried this before? It makes my skin SUPER soft and really moisturizes it deep within. You're supposed to apply it twice a week for 20min but honestly I just have been using this everyday as my skin needs it. I have noticed that my skin looks much plumpier, less wrinkly (especially on my forehead) and has such an healthy complexion after using it. I have even been using it before applying my makeup as a simple moisturizer. It's such an incredible product I'll be buying this on and on and on for sure.I definitely recommend this if you need a soothing, moisturizing mask.

Rien de tel qu'un peu de renouveau dans votre routine soin pour bien préparer votre peau à l'hiver qui commence à se profiler à l'horizon. Non seulement j'aime m'acheter des nouveaux produits car - blogueuse beauté obligé - j'adore tester mais en plus il paraît que c'est bénéfique de changer votre routine tous les 6 mois/max 1 an afin que votre peau ne s'habitue pas aux produits et qu'ils puissent rester efficaces. Voici donc ma nouvelle routine de soin pour l'hiver. Ma peau est sèche, déshydratée, en manque d'éclat pour un petit rappel des plus glamours.

Phase 1 j'exfolie : Qui dit teint terne...dit exfolier! C'est vraiment une étape cruciale pour retrouver un teint plus éclatant. Ceci-dit vu que j'ai la peau sèche je dois faire gaffe car certains exfoliants sont un peu abrasifs et ont tendances à dessécher la peau. J'ai donc choisi un gommage DOUX (mais efficace!), le Marilou Bio (Ok à la base je l'ai acheté juste pour son nom). C'est un très bon produit pour un petit prix tout doux également (aux environs de 5 euros!)

Phase 2 je purifie : Une fois que ma peau est exfoliée, je passe à l'étape purification. Déjà un pore dilaté ça me dégoute (horreur) mais un pore dilaté SALE (eurk)... non pas possible! J'utilise le masque Pores Be Pure de Formula 10.06 qui est super efficace. Il pique légèrement mais purifie ma peau en profondeur (je l'applique deux à trois fois par semaine pendant 20 minutes). Il sent hyper bon la fraise, son packaging est rose et ...le masque aussi. Tout pour plaire quoi.

Phase 3 je prépare : Avant de passer à la phase hydratation, je vais utiliser le sérum à l'acide hyaluronique de Reviva Labs que j'ai acheté sur iHerb. Je suis encore une novice dans le milieu des sérums! Celui-ci m'a attiré pour sa contenance d'acide hyaluronique qui créé une barrière sur la peau permettant de garder l'hydratation et de donner cet effet plus rebondi. Apparemment le corps en créé naturellement mais je pense pas que j'ai été trop gâtée à ce niveau malheureusement. Je trouve ma peau beaucoup moins sèche depuis que je l'utilise par contre je n'ai rien remarqué au niveau de l'effet plus rebondi.

Phase 4 j'hydrate : Ma phase préférée. Ce dont ma peau raffole tant! Une bonne crème hydratante. Ici il s'agit d'un masque hydratant apaisant d'Avène (ici). Bon comment vous dire? c'est le meilleur masque que j'ai jamais utilisé. Il apaise instantanément ma peau, la rend super douce et lui donne un aspect beaucoup plus rebondi et beaucoup plus sain. Je l'utilise même en crème hydratante avant d'appliquer mon makeup car ma peau l'absurde à une vitesse folle et il n'empêche en aucun cas une bonne application du fond de teint (je dirais même au contraire car il lisse ma peau et diminue l'aspect de mes rides du front!) Je RAFFOLE de ce produit. Je le recommande à toutes celles qui cherche un masque hydratant pour une vraie cure d'hydratation!

UNE ⎪ Skin Ideal Youth Serum foundation

Hello girls! Today I really wanted to talk about one of my favourite foundation at the moment. I have received the new Une Skin Ideal Youth Serum Foundation and I have been so obsessed with it since then. A little reminder : I have a very dry, dull looking skin. My skin lacks that extra glow and need some extra moisture all the time. The UNE Youth Serum foundation contains hyaluronic serum which is said to preserve skin's hydratation. I have a hyaluronic serum from Reviva Labs but I have never heard of a foundation with hyaluronic serum.

I find that idea really smart and time saving! The foundation is super easy to apply and gives such a nice glow to the skin. I do find that it makes my skin hydrated much longer (often I get some dry patches on my cheeks in the middle of the day because of drying foundation). It has a great coverage and provides the best, youthful fresh looking finish. I'm so happy with this product. It's by far one of my favourite at the moment with Bourjois Happy Light.

Hello les filles. Aujourd'hui je voulais vous parler de mon produit pour le teint chouchou du moment. J'ai reçu il y a quelques semaines le nouveau fond de teint Une Skin Ideal Youth Serum et je l'ai utilisé non-stop depuis en alternance avec mon Bourjois Happy Light. Pour vous faire un petit topo de ma peau : elle est super sèche, très fine et donc déjà fort marquée 'par la vie' haha. Elle est surtout terne par moment et elle manque de cette petite touche glowy qui me plait tant. 

Quand j'ai vu que ce fond teint 'sérum de jeunesse' contenait de l'acide hyaluronique j'étais déjà hyper emballée par l'idée. Je suis en train d'expérimenter avec un sérum à l'acide hyaluronique de la marque Reviva Labs en ce moment même et je suis assez bluffée par le résultat donc, un fond de teint 2 en 1? Yes please. 

L'acide hyaluronique permet à la peau de créer une barrière pour garder l'hydratation et donc de lui donner un aspect beaucoup plus rebondi! Niveau application, c'est parfait. Couvrance moyenne, il donne un teint unifié et super glowy. Il donne vraiment un bon coup de boost aux peaux un peu ternes/ en manque d'éclat. Pour une touche extra glowy, je n'oublie pas d'ajouter une touche de Benefit High Beam et voilà! La tenue est correcte, il ne promet pas 'de tenir 24h même sous la pluie' mais il ne se fait pas la malle au bout de quelques heures!

Hello girls. YES. You read it correctly. The scrunchie....is back. Now if you were born in the late 90's early 2000 you might not know what is scrunchie. A scrunchie is a hair piece that was VERY popular 'back in the days' (I would say mid 80's/90's). Then, just like any other trends, it became very has been and so unpopular. I remember very vividly making fun (I'm not a mean girl I swear) of a girl wearing a scrunchie. It was like whaaaaaaaaaaat is she wearing OMG this is so old fashioned!. For my defense, she was wearing a very ugly velvety scrunchie on a low pony-tail, ok.

This year after watching my favourite UK tv show The Only Way is Essex, I spotted that Ferne was wearing scrunchies on her wrist and I was like 'oooooh this is really cool, it has a 80's vibe to it'. Since then, I have created my very own scrunchie (it is super easy to do!) and wearing it every single day. First of all, the scrunchie is SUPER comfortable. It doesn't tighten your hair too much and gives it a lot of volume when in a bun. Second of all, you can use it as an accessory and use fun patterns or excentric colors!


Hello les filles. Oui, oui c'est exact. Le chouchou is BACK. Ce fameux chou chou que nous avons + au - toutes portées pendant notre jeunesse (je parle pour la génération née dans les années 80-début 90) Si vous êtes des années 2000.... (ça me paraît jeune mais bon) un chouchou c'est un élatisque pour les cheveux recouvert d'un bout de tissu qui se portait couramment dans les années 80-début 90. Haha j'ai l'air has been là non? J'avoue, autant j'en ai porté quand j'étais petite, autant je m'en suis moquée quand j'étais 'ado'. Non mais la fille qui osait se ramener à l'école avec un chou chou dans les cheveux  = LA méga HONTE. Surtout qu'à l'époque il se portait sur une couette basse et plutôt du genre en velours et pas glam du tout!

Cette année, après avoir regarder un épisode de ma série UK préférée The Only Way is Essex, j'ai remarqué qu'une des filles de la série, Ferne, portait un chouchou autour de son poignet. Révélation! Le chouchou c'est super cool en fait. Déjà, quand y réfléchis bien, c'est hyper comfo pour les cheveux mais en plus il peut se porter comme un véritable accessoire de mode! J'ai fabriqué mon propre chouchou (c'est hyper simple!) et je ne le lâche plus depuis. Couette haute, chignon loose, chignon à la va vite....C'est mon côté année 80 en moi, je n'en peux rien!

Is it too early for a Christmas wish list? I don't think so! It's never too early to start thinking about what you would like to get for Christmas. Although my biggest wish is me & my loved ones being healthy I wouldn't mind getting some presents haha. 

On the top of my wish list are two books. The first one is True Whit by Whitney Port. I'm such a huge fan of her, she is, with LC of course, one of my favourite celebrity out there. The second book is by Theresa Caputo from the show Long Island Medium. It's called 'There's more to life to this'. It's about her life as a medium and how she connects with people that have crossed over. I'm captivating by this show and all the 'life after death' subject so this is right up my alley.

On my wish list is also this gold watch from Massimo Dutti. I have been obsessed with it anything gold and chunky at the moment so this will be perfect to accessorize my outfits! Bling bling!  I also had to put a Yankee Candle on my wish list, everyone keeps talking about these candles and I've never tried them (is that shameful?). I would love to try first a fresh-scented candle like Fluffly Towels. I love the smell of clean if that even makes sense haha. I have found a store that sells them in Belgium, it's called  StoneManor and there's one in Everberg and one in Waterloo.

Finally in the make up department, I really would LOVE to get the Naked 3 from Urban Decay. I have the first one, the second I didn't like it all that much but the third one is my cup of tea. All these pink shades are perfect for green eyes like mine, yess! I definitely do not need this but it would be a nice addition to my always growing collection! I'm a sucker for anything that is promising to make my make up last longer so the Benefit Primer Stay Flawless & Skindinavia 10 years younger setting spray are definitely on top of my wish list. These are a bit hard to find in Belgium, but I really want to try the NYX Born To Glow (you never have too much highlighter) and the Milani Black Cherry lipstick (ditto for dark lipsticks!)

It's now that new, but Sinful has released some new shades back in september (shame on me I totally forgot to publish the post although it was ready for a while). I got 4 of the shades and I was really looking forward to try them just because I don't think I have any Sinful colors nail polishes. Maybe one but it's a sheer sparkly top coat so it doesn't count. Actually I was planning on getting the 'Shining Heart' shade because it was sent to me by surprise just because I spotted that it would be the perfect matching nail polish for Chanel "Jalousie" (and yes, it is indeed!) The application was a bit difficul for the orange & red shades as it was really runny but after three coats I managed to get a decent opacity. For 'Fig' and 'Shining Heart' the application was more easy and the result it simply gorgeous. My favourite has to be 'Fig' just because the colour is so unique and bright (it contains some serious shimmers!). 'Shining Heart' is an over the top girly colour, perfect for those summer days (ugh......). Overall, I would love to try more of Sinful in a near future as they have a super wide range of colours!  Price : 5,95€ at Di drugstore! Bargain! Which one is your favourite?

Bon ok, ok ces vernis sont sortis en Septembre mais j'ai totalement oublié de publier l'article. Honte et déshonneur. J'ai reçu 4 des nouvelles teintes Sinful colors et j'avais vraiment hâte de les tester vu que je n'ai pas de vernis de cette marque dans ma co-vernis-llection. Le rose m'a direct tapé dans l'oeil à l'ouverture du paquet (Oui je suis attirée par tout ce qui brille, tout ce qui est rose et tout ce qui coûte cher). Je pensais qu'il allait être mon préféré du lot mais lors de l'application j'ai eu un véritable coup de foudre pour la teinte 'Fig' qui est un mauve absolument sublime et so unique qui plus est car il est bourré de superbes relflets pailletés. Niveau application, j'ai un peu galeré avec les teintes 'Big Daddy' et 'Cross my heart' car le vernis était beaucoup trop liquide donc j'ai du m'armer de patience et appliquer trois couches en les laissant bien sécher une par une. Pour les deux autres couleurs l'application était beaucoup plus facile et rapide... heureusement!! 'Shining Heart' est un vernis parfait si vous aimez assortir votre vernis à votre lipstick car en effet c'est un dupe en vernis du gloss Chanel Jalousie! So GLAM quoi!!! French skin care & NYX mini haul

I went to the border of France last weekend to stock on some beauty french skin care products but I ended up not finding all the moisturizer I wanted so I got a little stock of my favourite makeup remover from Bioderma (2 for 15€) and I got one of the Marilou Bio face exfoliator at Douglas. I must admit the fact that's it's called Marilou (my name!) really made me bought it. Still at Douglas, I was IN SHOCK to see a NYX corner. I had no idea they were selling Nyx. The vendor told me it was brand new! The range wasn't complete but still...I'm super happy. It's the first time I get to try NYX since I always wanted to order online but always get lazy to actually do it. I got three butter lip glosses and a makeup setting spray in 'dewy'. Finally, I took the chance to use the 'Back 2 Mac' in France (because it's not doable in Belgium, due to the legislation apparently) and got my favourite nude ever, Mac Myth!


Je suis partie en France le weekend passé, à la frontière plus exactement, au centre commercial V2 à Villeneuve d'Ascq pour faire le plein de produits skin care français. Je n'ai pas trouvé les produits embryolisse que je cherchais mais j'ai refais le plein de mon démaquillant chou chou de chez Bioderma (2 pour 15€). Dans le magasin Douglas, j'ai découvert la marque Marilou Bio que je voulais tester depuis assez longtemps et que je pensais introuvable en Belgique (en fait oui elle est trouvable chez Desmecht place Ste Catherine!) et j'ai craqué pour l'exfoliant visage. Ensuite, à ma plus grande joie j'ai découvert que Douglas vendait la marque NYX. OH MY GOD. Le choc émotionnel quand j'ai vu ça! Woauuuaaha! Je voulais tester NYX depuis si longtemps et j'avais toujours la flemme de commander en ligne. Bon, la gamme n'était pas complète, mais c'est déjà un bon début. J'ai pris trois butter gloss et un spray de finition 'dewy' pour le make-up. La prochaine fois je teste les jumbo pencils et les blush! Ensuite, j'en ai profité d'être en France pour faire le 'back 2 Mac' vu qu'on ne peut pas bénéficier de cet avantage en Belgique (à cause de la législation apparemment). J'ai pris mon petit nude basique MYTH que j'adore.

New from Bourjois

2013 has been quite the year for Bourjois. To celebrate their 150th anniversary they have released quite a few, no wait, TONS of new amazing products. From perfumes, to foundation, eyeshadows and lipsticks. What a blast! Bourjois has definitely become my new favourite brand when it comes to foundation, setting powders and lip products. The range is so wide and whimsical, how to resist?
The latest addition to their 150th anniversary celebrations is obviously christmas related! I was lucky enough to receive some of them and let me tell you that I am in love! The most exciting in my opinion are the cream eyeshadows as I was hoping for so long that Bourjois would create their own cream eyeshadows and it happened! I got such beautiful colors perfect for fall too! Also the new Volume Seduction mascara looks über cute and the brush is huge! Can't wait to try everything and let you know what I think with reviews coming soon :)

On peut dire que 2013 est une année pleines de nouveautés et d'innovations chez Bourjois. Pour célébrer leur 150 ans, ils ont mis le paquet et nous ont fait rêver. Entre la gamme Happy Light, les Color Boost, les Color Edition, les nouveaux vernis, les lipstick Shine Edition... on peut dire que Bourjois est vraiment la marque drugstore incontournable pour toutes les beauty addict! Cerise sur le gâteau, Bourjois sort pour Noël une ribambelle de nouveautés encore plus glam & girly que jamais! J'ai reçu une partie des nouveautés et, oh my god, je suis aux anges! J'étais super excitée de pouvoir tester les Color Edition, ces fameux fards à paupières crémeux qui sont très en vogue en ce moment. The dark blue & the gold leaf

This is a combo I have been obsessed with lately. I recevied 'After school boy blazer' from Lindsay (how kind?) and it is the perfect dark blue nail polish shade. It does look very dark and you can tell it's blue only because it's not that 'harsch' as black would be. The Bourjois 'Vampire Vanity' is the perfect sparkly 'leafy' nail polish to apply on the ring finger. It's so special and gives that extra festive touch. Perfect for the christmas season that's coming!

Inspiration ⎪Dark lips

'Dark lips' trend is my guilty pleasure this season! I definitely feel it's a glamorous look that goes to everyone pretty well and gives that extra edgy-ness. I recently have bought lots of new dark lippies and I don't feel self-conscious about wearing them during day time now (I always feel they make me look über severe and serious, hence the self-consciousness)

Selling Mac Cyber lipstick

Hi girls. I bought this lipstick yesterday and totally mixed up the shade I wanted and the shade I got. I ended up getting Mac - Cyber instead of Mac - Media. I did apply it on my lips as soon I got home then realized it was the wrong shade, because it was way too dark. I feel so disappointed, now I'm left with this lipstick way too dark for my super pale skin tone. I think this would suit perfectly a darker skin tone. If you're interested I'm selling it so I can get the Mac Media instead haha.

Hello les filles. Hier lors d'une virée chez Mac pour m'acheter le Let's Skate (que je n'ai pas acheté pour finir car je trouvais bof sur les paupières) j'ai acheté sur un coup de tête la teinte Cyber de Mac. J'ai été super déçue en rentrant chez moi car c'est beaucoup trop foncé, trop mauve pour moi. Swatché sur ma main il donnait bien mais une fois porté....je ne suis vraiment pas emballée. Je pense qu'il serait super beau sur une peau matte ou plus foncée. Si cela vous intéresse je le revend, il est vraiment comme neuf!

First item are my Timeless Chelsea Boots from Asos. Long story short, I've had such a huge crush on these boots three weeks ago and waited like a crocodile for the size 6 to get back on stock, ordered them from Asos as soon as a last pair came back and never got them. The mail man never came and sent them back directly to the warehouse (very, very weird.) Asos didn't want to sent them back to me (although they did it for another client in Belgium that has had the same issue as me) so luckily I got another 'last pair' and still waiting for them to arrive. Pray for me they will arrive this time! Those kind of chelsea boots will be perfect with pretty much any outfit. 

I've been eyeing on a green tartan skirt/trouser for a while now. I already got the red tartan shirt, which is such a staple item in a ward robe, but I feel that the green tartan is even more prettier and easier to wear in a way. I really wanted the Daisy Sreet skirt but it's SOLD OUT, damn! I'm keeping an eye on it in case it gets back on stock (it happens a lot on Asos). 

Then I've had some major fashion crushes for Zara at the moments. I have four bags on my wish list from Zara but I had to pick two so these are my two favourites. The black leather crocro one is a bit expensive (129€) but soooo gorgeous, I'm dying to get it. I need this kind of shoulder/evening bag in my life. Second one is more of a day time shoulder bag with some lovely gold details. And finally those open ankle boots are to DIE for. I know they're not very new but oh my, they just look so edgy and versatile. The perfect going out booties! I'm going to make sure they will be mine in a near future.

Le premier numéro dans ma wish list est une paire de bottes Chelsea (incontournable cette saison!) que j'ai déjà commandée sur Asos. Pour vous résumer l'histoire, je les ai vues il y a trois semaines et j'ai eu un énorme coup de coeur. La forme Chelsea parfaite (selon moi) pas trop courtes, pas trop hautes, fines et sans talons donc parfaites pour tous les jours. Malheureusement ma taille n'étant plus dispo j'ai guetté le site comme un vieux crocodile dans l'espoir qu'elles réapparaissent (comme c'est souvent le cas sur Asos). MIRACLE, j'ai réussi à avoir la 'dernière' paire en 39 (joie et bonheur + euphorie) et à ce jour j'attends toujours ma commande . En effet celle-ci n'est jamais arrivée, le facteur TNT n'est jamais passé et a renvoyé le colis chez Asos  en disant que le colis avait été refusé par le client, ce qui est juste impossible. Bon après plusieurs échanges avec le service client on me fait comprendre que c'est impossible de me renvoyer la paire et que je n'ai cas attendre qu'elle revienne chez eux et qu'elle soit remise en stock. (Petite info croustillante, une histoire similaire est arrivée à une autre twitteuse belge quasi en même temps et celle-ci à eu la chance de voir le renvoi de son colis accepté par Asos. Je précise que lorsque j'ai demandé le renvoi du colis, il restait une autre paire dispo en ligne en 39 donc cela aurait été faisable mais bon je me suis pris au moins 20 refus et j'ai eu la désagréable impression de devoir les harceler pour qu'on me dise ce qu'il s'est passé avec mon colis et pourquoi on ne pouvait pas me le renvoyer mais à une autre client oui... réponse que je n'ai jamais eue) 

Enfin voilà, franchement l'histoire me reste un peu en travers de la gorge mais je les voulais tellement que j'ai vite recommandé la 'dernière paire' avant même d'avoir été remboursée de l'autre paire. C'était un peu comme dans 24h chrono, j'ai du agir vite quand j'ai vu une autre dernière pair dispo haha. Heureusement car je vois qu'elles sont sold out maintenant. Bon j'attends toujours mon colis j'espère qu'il arrivera cette semaine (j'ai laissé un mot sur la porte pour le facteur en prévention) Franchement si mon colis n'arrive pas, je vais sérieusement envisager la théorie du complot... ça vous est déjà arrivé une histoire pareille? Moi jamais c'est la première en 5 ans de shopping compulsif en ligne. 

Sur cette joyeuse note, je continue dans ma lancée avec la mode du tartan. Autant je trouvais ça horrible il y a deux ans (so mamie), je trouve ça trop BEAU cette année, influençable que je suis. Mon choix s'est déjà porté sur une chemise rouge et bleue (un petit basique) et maintenant je zieute sur les modèles green tartan en particuliers cette jupe de chez Daisy Street (sold out mais on ne sait jamais) et ce pantalon. Imaginez la jupe ou le pantalon avec un petit pull fluffly blanc, des talons, une petite veste en cuir, un beau gros collier bling bling et un lipstick foncé... mmh!!! 

Et pour finir, j'adore la collection de sac chez Zara en ce moment. En particulier le sac noir en cuir et crocro (LE petit sac parfait pour sortir mais il coûte un bras, 129€...pour du Zara rappelons-le!) ainsi qu'un autre avec une hanse, beaucoup plus daytime et plus accessible niveau prix. Ensuite, mon méga coup de coeur du moment ce sont ces bottes Zara. Oh.My.God. Il me les faut, je vais me dépêcher car cela fait un petit temps que je les vois en ligne et je ne voudrais pas qu'elles m'échappent! Ces bottes sont vraiment parfaites, très rock, très glam et parfaites pour sortir. 

Update : mes bottes sont arrivées.......YES!!!

My first iHerb order

Two weeks ago I made my very first iHerb order! I wanted to get a hyaluronic serum for a long time and this website does offer two or three different ones with good reviews and good price. While I ordered it I was browing the other items and I ended up with 4 others things in my basket.whoopsie!

When I saw that Real Techniques was available I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to finally get my hands on the foundation brush and the face expert brush (everyone is raving about this one isn't it?). Then I also got myself the Ecotools doomed bronzing brush which is super huge and quite dense.
The last little treat I got was the Physician Formula Happy Booster Natural blush. I already have the bronzer and I quite enjoy it, I don't know how to resist a heart shaped blush anyway so, I had to get it.

In total it was 52,35 $ (you get 10$ off with your first order yay to that!) so quite cheap when you convert it in  euros but I had the bad surprise of having to pay some customs taxes which were around 16€. Ugh. First time I have ever paid those customs taxes it's annoying but I'm not going to complain too much because the price is still decent at the of the day and I'm super happy with my order. The shipping was super fast and I'm really tempted to re-order again... I would love to discover some new products so if you have any recommendations, please do share!

What I'm most excited about is the hyaluronic serum from Reviva Labs as I'm trying the get a much plumpier skin, healthy looking and apparently it helps retaining skin moisture... so...I hope it will works!

Il y a deux semaines j'ai enfin passé ma première commande iHerb. Je me tâtais depuis un bon moment car je voulais à tout prix me procurer un sérum à l'acide hyaluronique pour rehydrater ma peau en profondeur et lui donner un aspect plus rebondi, et j'ai vu qu'ils y en avait deux ou trois de marques différents/prix différents disponibles sur iHerb. Pour ce premier test de sérum spécial crise de quart de siècle j'ai choisi celui de la marque Reviva Labs car il avait beaucoup de bonnes revues ainsi qu'un prix raisonnable (Bon ok en fait le NowFoods était sold out). Au début, c'était donc le seul article dans mon panier et puis bon ben.... au bout d'une heure passée sur le site j'ai craqué pour 4 autres choses. WHOOPSIE. Le choix est vraiment incroyable, il a tellement de marques, de vitamines, de produits spécifiques etc. 

Je l'ai joué safe et j'ai craqué pour deux nouveaux pinceaux Real Techniques afin de compléter ma collection. J'ai pris le pinceau à fond de teint (rose) et l'expert face brush (l'orange). Apparemment l'expert face brush est LE pinceau de la mort qui tue pour appliquer le fond de teint donc j'ai hâte de le tester. Le rose, initialement créé pour appliquer le fond de teint, me servira de pinceau à highlighter liquide car il est de taille assez petite, les poils sont courts et bien denses. Ensuite j'ai pris le pinceau pour la poudre bronzante de chez Ecotools dont j'avais lu beaucoup de bonnes revues. Il est super épais et dense, j'ai aussi hâte de le tester!

Le dernier petit craquage est le blush 'natural' de Physician Formula. J'ai déjà la poudre bronzante que j'aime assez bien et je n'ai pas su résister aux formes de coeur dans le blush c'est juste too cute!

Au final j'en ai eu pour 52$ (62 à la base moins les 10$ offert pour la première commande) ce qui est méga raisonnable pour 5 produits mais bon c'était trop beau pour être vrai,  l'euphorie de la bonne affaire est vite retombée quand j'ai reçu un appel de DHL pour me dire que je devais payé des frais de douanes (+-16 euros). Bon ça reste super raisonnable tout de même et je suis tellement ravie d'avoir mes nouveaux précieux que je passe l'éponge! C'est la première fois que j'ai des frais de douanes (et je commande pas mal en ligne, souvent des US) donc je ne sais pas si c'est DHL ou si c'était un coup de 'malchance' mais je pense que c'est assez fréquent avec les commandes sur iHerb.

Je suis hyper tentée de repasser une autre commande et de tester des nouveaux produits inconnus au bataillon donc si vous avez des recommandations c'est par iciiiiiiii

Newpharma

Hello girls! I've had the opportunity to try three products from the online belgian apothecary newpharma.be. I had to pick and it was hard but my choice finally went for the Avène Soothing moisture mask because I'm looking for the perfect moisturizing mask even more now knowing that winter is coming I know my skin is going to get super dry and irritated.

Then I got the La Roche Posay Redermic to use a soothing make-up base for my expression wrinkle (it is supposed to be for more mature skin but I think my skin is aging really quick) and finally the Liérac Destock Night body-contouring concentrate to get rid of the oh so glamorous cellulitis. I've never tried any slimming product before because I think work out is the only solution but maybe pairing it with working out (225 squats a day, phew!) can improve the results.  I can't wait to try everything and share with you my thoughts about Newpharma.be. 

I'm not used to ordering skin care products online but I  guess it's a good deal because you can have a better price than in store (and pharmacy skin care can get pretty expensive in Belgium) with a fast shipping and free shipping over 49€.

Hello les filles! J'ai eu l'opportunité de pouvoir choisir et tester trois produits de la pharmacie en ligne belge Newpharma.be. C'était dur de faire mon choix car étant FAN de produits "pharmaceutiques" pour la peau j'avais envie de tout tester. Mon choix s'est finalement porté sur le Masque hydratant apaisant de la marque Avène. J'avais envie de le tester depuis tellement longtemps vu je suis encore en quête du masque hydratant parfait qui sauvera ma peau sèche de l'hiver rude qui approche! 

Ensuite j'ai pris le Redermic R de La Roche Posay qui est un soin pour les peaux matures qui lisse les rides et améliore l'aspect de la peau. Je compte l'utiliser en base à make-up pour lisser mes rides d'expressions frontales disgracieuses. Pour finir j'ai choisi un produit de la marque Liérac, première fois que je teste un produit de cette marque, le Body-slim destock nuit pour se débarrasser de notre fidèle amie, la ô combien glamour cellulite! Je suis un peu sceptique concernant les produits amincissants car je pense que le seul moyen de perdre du poids et d'amincir sa silhouette est d'avoir une alimentation équilibrée et de faire du sport mais je me suis dit qu'en alliant sport et produit amincissant cela pouvait accélérer le processus. 

Bon je vais tester tout cela et je vous tiens au courant. Je n'ai pas trop l'habitude de commander des produits que l'on trouve facilement en magasins en ligne mais il faut dire que les prix  sur Newpharma.be sont plutôt intéressants, la livraison est super rapide et gratuite à partir de 49€, donc why not?

Hello girls! It's been a long time, well just quite few days since I have properly beauty blogged. Time has been horrendous, pouring rain all day and therefore no decent lighting to take any pictures. I do have some new stuff to show you so I finally will be posting about it very soon! Today I wanted to talk about my favourite dark lips for fall/winter. I can't even express how much I love dark lips. I remember the first time I tried it, I was horrified. My lips are already small and thin so it does make them even smaller and thinner but since then I have learned how to use a lip brush and try to define them to make them look plumpier!

Rimmel 'Cutting Edge' is a dark lipstick with some massive purple undertones. It is much, much darker in real life than in the picture! It's such a gorgeous plummy shade I'm  seriously obsessed with it. The application was dreamy, it is not drying at all and gives such a nice finish.

Sleek 'Cherry' is the most amazing dark cherry colour ever. It is also much darker in real life (how come it is sooo hard to capture colors on camera?) It has a super shiny finish but the lasting isn't that great. I really want to get my hands on Sleek 'Dare' as I've heard it's a dupe for Mac Diva and has a matte finish (right up my alley then!)

Catrice Wet Shine Stain 'Fatal' is the latest addition to my lipstick collection. It is from the new Catrice limited edition. Once again, much darker in real life, but certainly not the darkest of them all. It's is a dark red lip stain with an incredible lasting AND finish. A bit difficult to apply but so worth it! Only around 4 euros too, say whaaaat?

Maybelline 'Always Plum' is not a new colour, I've already mentioned it soooo many times before. This color has a bit of a 90's vibe to it. It's super plum with a matte finish. The lasting is incredible and that's why I love it so so so much.

Hello les filles! J'ai voulu prendre des photos pour mon blog toute la semaine mais le temps est juste...horrible. Il ne fait que pleuvoir, pas un rayon de soleil à l'horizon et cerise sur la gâteau le soleil se couche à 17h. SUPER. J'ai reçu pas mal de colis cette semaine (sauf mon colis Asos qui s'est perdu et que j'aurais jamais la chance de reçevoir, merci TNT!) mais aujourd'hui je voulais vous parler de mes lipsticks foncés préférés pour l'automne/hiver. C'est une grande tendance du moment et j'avoue que, petit mouton que je suis, j'en raffole également! Rien de tel avec un petit pull cosy blanc ou une robe pour donner cette touche 'extra top'. Bon je vous avoue la première fois que j'ai testé un lipstick foncé j'ai eu du mal car j'ai déjà la bouche extra fine et le foncé ayant cette fâcheuse tendance à amincir bah il ne me restait plus grand chose en guise de lèvres. Heureusement depuis j'ai découvert le pinceau pour les lèvres (j'utilise celui de Real Techniques) et j'essaye de bien dessiner mes lèvres comme je l'ai appris en faisant mon stage en Relations publiques chez Make Up For Ever l'année passée (les avantages d'avoir pu regarder les profs à l'ouvrage)

Rimmel 'Cutting Edge' est le lipstick que je porte dans ma dernière vidéo. Je l'ai acheté un peu par dépit de ne pas trouver la teinte Diva au Mac Rue Neuve. Il est bien plus foncé en vrai et tire beaucoup sur le mauve (ça se voit je pense). Il est sublime et donne vraiment super bien une fois porté. Sa texture est hyper agréable, pas desséchante pour un sou et le fini est vraiment sublime. Son prix 8,99€ chez Di = hyper raisonnable!

Sleek 'Cherry' ou LE lipstick foncé basique par excellence. Il est, une fois de plus, beaucoup plus foncé en vrai et rempli de sous-teintes bordeaux foncé. Je l'adore, il donne un résultat des plus glam. Sa tenue est un peu bof par contre mais bon je lui pardonne vu son prix!

Catrice Wet Shine Stain 'Fatal' est ma dernière addition à ma collection. J'ai craqué dès que j'ai vu la nouvelle collection limitée Catrice. Sa couleur est sublime et parfaite pour la saison festive qui arrive. Sa texture est non collante pour un résultat ultra brillant avec une bonne tenue. Que demander de plus?

Maybelline 'Always Plum' bon celui là je vous ai déjà bassiner avec. Je l'ai depuis l'année passée et c'est un de mes préférés de par sa tenue hyper longue durée (oui c'est un super stay 14h) et qui ne bouge pas. Sa couleur fait un peu revival 90's car c'est un mauve très foncé. Un petit basique...

Inspiration ⎥Kourtney Kardashian

I've always loved Kourtney Kardashian's sense of style (although I'm sure it's more her stylist's sense of style than hers). It's always a bit sassy and edgy with that whimsical touch. My favourite looks here are the two first ones with the floral head band and the leather skirt (nothing can beat a leather skirt + lousy bohemian blouse) and the last one being my favourite look ever that I'll try to recreate. The green/blue tartan trousers with leather top and over the shoulder denim jacket = perfection. The greek/goddess braided hair is also such a cute addition to the whole look. In my opinion in the Kardashian family, Kim is a bit too mainstream fashion wise, Khloé is a bit too R'n'B ghetto sexy and Kourtney has the perfect quirky yet feminine sense of fashion. And voila, my Kardashian sense of style essay!

Monthly favourite ⎪october

I'm soooo sad that october is gone now. It's, with september, one of my favourite time of the year. I love the beginning of fall with the red/yellow leaves, the weather getting a bit colder, the red cups at Starbucks... Now that november it's the beginning of winter (in my mind at least) I'm getting mentally prepared for a cooooold 5 next months. At least it's Christmas very soon so that's something to be cheerful about! Ok now time for my october's favorite.

In the lipstick department : Mac Ever Hip has been my favourite coral on the go. It's super super bright and cheerful (not very fall-ish) but still gorgeous. I kept the bottle closed for the pictures as I have depotted it and it's now empty and not pretty looking haha. More on the fall side lipstick, the Matt-erial girl by Catrice is such a gorgeous pinky-plum shade. Perfect for fall and such a bargain!

To hydrate my skin I've been obsessed with the Rituals Intensive Moisturizing Mask. It's super refreshing and moisturizing. I apply it once a week to give my skin that extra moisture needed and it's amazing! Also, my favorite perfume in the whole wide world, Chanel Coco Mademoiselle had to be of my monthly favourite as I got it last month for my birthday. It's such a perfect, girly yet powerful and still super feminine scent, I'm in love!

Moving on to more make-up. I have been really loving the Mac Studio Sculpt foundation just because it is super dewy yet has some decent coverage and keeps my skin moisturized all day. It's such a comfy foundation to wear if you have a dry skin like me.

Still in the glow department, I have been so obsessed with my Une Skin Glow Pencil. It's a perfect nude colour to add in my waterline and brighten my eyes in a sec. I was used to wear white but I find that nude/beige colours really look more natural with my eyes. Then my favorite highlighter has been The Balm Mary-lou Manizer. It's such a great product with a wonderful finish. I am utterly in love with this brand and especially this product. The Balm FratBoy blush is another exemple of my love for this brand. It has been my favourite blusher these past few weeks, although it being super powdery and overly pigmented it gives the most amazing pink touch to the cheeks.
